Joy Walker is an artist who lives and works in Toronto. Using a wide range of materials and processes, Walker’s work is guided by an intuitive process combined with a strong interest in line, colour, pattern and form.

Her most recent commission, an artist project that reconfigures the standard index card, will be included in the publication Who’s Afraid of Purple, Orange and Green, by Jennifer Matotek, published by Black Dog Publishing in the U.K.

Walker has exhibited throughout Canada and the U.S. and most recently presented solo exhibitions at Rodman Hall Art Centre in St.Catharines, Ontario and the Dunlop Gallery in Regina, Saskatchewan. Her work is held in numerous private collections and in the corporate collections of Bank of Montreal and TD Bank. Walker is the programmer of *QueenSpecific, a window gallery on Queen St West in Toronto and is represented by MKG127 in Toronto.
